Dan Cato & Haylee McCutcheon

OUR STORY
Haylee and Dan first met in July 2018 after matching online. With the shimmering promise of romance and galaxies far, far, away, they both agreed their first date would be at the Detroit Institute of Arts to experience the special Star Wars exhibit.
Since that first museum trip Dan and Haylee have found their personalities align well to one another. Before long, they found themselves caught in the gentle gravitational pull of their affections and established an easy bond.
Now they are thrilled to create countless more memories with friends and family as they embark on this astronomical journey of wedded bliss.

THE AESTHETICS
As you may have noticed, the visual theme of the wedding is stars and constellations.
Stars have long been symbols of inspiration and dreams. This is because stars are built in the same way. Speck by speck, piece by piece- brought together by electricity and slowly building until one day it ignites in a brilliant flash. The star is then sustained by those long days
building toward its shining future.
While stars are lovely as solitary points they are not alone in our night sky. Together, they create constellations, but these formations shift and change with our perspective and the seasons. Is it Ursa Major or a spoon? Is it a Swan or a cross? Just like these asterisms, our relationships with one another and the connections we make are so important to our stories.
On a day surrounded by so many loved ones, its important to Haylee and Dan to celebrate not only their relationship, but the people who supported them, brought them together, and inspires them.
